All of the JDM headers come with a disclaimer that their product is for "off-road" use. Amuse, J's racing, and Spoon all us ethe same headers they sell on the race track if thats what you're asking.

we have a header...you can't buy headers for our car, just a header...you can choose between headers though...

anyway, most are made for off road use only, or racing only...you mentioned the amuse header...its an amazing piece...i love it...

install isn't to hard...

you have to drop the stock header down...as for installing the new one, it all depends on which one you buy...i dropped the amuse in from the top, but it did rub on the AC lines and was a PITA to get in...the torque specs are very minimal also, i believe 23ftlbs, i will double check that tonight on another thread...the old bolts came off like a breeze

yes, i mean REAL racing headers. hey, how about Toda? Amuse R1 is pretty pricey. looking at over $1000.00. i don't have the right tools, so cannot install at home, have to take it to the shop.

all "race" headers as you consider them will run over 1k new.

Grab some used toda or mugen headers. I think you can find em for about 800bones.

PM XPLOSIV

he is selling a Mugen header for 900$ i believe...its a nice piece, gives you the most mid range gain i believe...

the toda header is very nice, but the brackets break...only on some though...plus with the toda header, it sits an inch lower, so if your car is lowered it will scrape at some times...this is what i have been hearing on the boards...im not knocking toda, they make amazing products, but id go with Amuse, Mugen or J's for race headers...

BTW...Look into comptech, i hear they make a nice header
