its not the size(circumference )of your waist
it's the difference between your hips (not circumference) that you should be measuring.

The sparco site had dimensions of waist sizes that would fit well in the cars when i got mine. And keep in mind that they will form to you so you want it to be tight at first and break in to wrap around you. Uncomfortable at first but just wedge your ass in there and deal with it for a while, and eventually they will fit like a glove.

The factory seats do the same thing. I would know.
