i have the valentine one also and i have tried almsot every worthwhile radar detector on the market and nothing is better than it IMO.

It has saved me atleast 50 times in the past year.

I used to have an Escort 8500 X50. While I liked it and it worked well when I used it. I never really found it all that useful because of the way cops are here. They all just sit in one of two spots. So pretty much there is 2 miles of road in town where you will get pulled over. Other than that you may see a cop once in a blue moon outside of those areas. Only times i really found a use for it was when i would go on a road trip. I would defiantly have on if I lived somewhere else though. The system is decent though and it you are looking for a good one it is defiantly one of them. I think the V1 takes the cake from what I have read in past comparisons.

9500i, saved my @ss on I-16 today from atlanta to savannah. I picked up the first IO signal from 3/4 mile away, worth every dollar.

I use a V1. The arrows are NOT a gimmick.

I only use it on road trips, though, because on my usual routes to work I know where the speed traps are and slow down automatically for them.

Radar detectors have failed me over and over so I just gave up on them Maybe its just me but they would only go off if a cop is using their speed gun so unless theyre actually using it then it wont help me at all.
