They make gas cups for welding out of pyrex and I'm pretty sure that the molten puddle of metal gets a lot hotter than your coolant at normal operating temps.

It's a unique mod that would probably earn you some points at a car show.

rice or not, it would no doubt draw a crowd at a car meet when you pop the hood.

yea definatly unique never seen another s with one, i have had my share of mixed reviews thats for sure but ill do what i want with my car, i like it, never had problems with it, and pyrex is stronger than just about anyother part on your car look at the video they drive a damn truck over it haha.
oh and about engine torque; the torque in the engine moves the entire coolant line lessthan 1/2'' there is no way it would ever get damaged from moving such a small ammount
but what comes from killerglass is only the tube and lights and 2 large pieces of "heat shrink" to help seal it up the metal around the rest of the coolant tube was from an advanced auto the whole kit is lik $50 and you can do many, different sizes of tubing you can see some of the other hoses i did like on the top of the engine and one or 2 around it, it just slides over the existing tubing
it is also semi functional lets you see if you have any air in there haha, all in all its a neat inexpensive unique mod

I never stated otherwise. It's just not my cup of tea. I'd definitely stand in the parking lot and look at it though.
