Default Radio code

Just picked up the 2008 baby from my father in law.
Car looks great and he kept it in the garage which is a good thing.
When I tried to turn the head unit on, it's asking for a code.
I'm very confident he doesn't know the code.
It is an OEM head unit.
Any thought or suggestions?

There should be a business card sized piece of paper with the codes on it in the secret compartment.

If that doesn't work, pull the radio to get the serial number and call or go to a Honda dealer. They can look it up for you.

Thanks for sharing the link. This is a great resource for us long time Honda owners who knew about the radio code, but kept having to contact the dealer to get it. Thanks again.

Yes, thanks everyone.
Was on the road for 15 hours today covering over 1000 miles.
I ended up calling a Honda dealership service dept who helped and gave me the code over the phone.
It would have made the trip even longer without a working stereo.

Sometimes making the Motor "sing" is just as nice as having the radio on
