That was the radio code i got from Honda... I had to take out my head unit and get some number on the back for them...so you sure its only 4?

Not always free, Not if they have to remove the radio to get the serial #.

The codes are unique to each radio, and they are 5 digits long, not 4.

^ I thought i might i have the only s2k with a 5 digit radio code after what everyone was saying. but yea try the code, since you have a MY01 as well, it might work.

BEFORE you go to the dealership...

...check your owners manual for the radio code sticker.

...check inside your glove box (both compartments) for the radio code sticker.

...check inside your trunk lid for the radio code sticker.

These are all common places that the dealer may have placed the code sticker.
The code is 5 digits, and obviously uses the numbers 1-6.

If you bought it from a dealer, they probably put the code in there somewhere, as was stated above. The code for my radio was on the door to the lower center console....it WAS at least...now I have an aftermarket setup. No more crappy stock tunes for me!

ps-I have also read that on some radios if you hold the 1 and 6 buttons down at the same time, and then give the unit power, it will not need the code.....I am not sure if this is true, I just remember reading something like that on a post here.
