Look for a white sticker with black print in your glove box (stuck to either the main lid that folda down or under the lid to the secret compartment), or in some cases it will be stuck to the inside of your trunk lid. I believe the code is a 5-digit code.

You can also look inside the front cover of your owners manual as well.

If you cannot locate the sticker you will need to pull your radio and get the serial number from the back of it. Then contact your dealer and they can get you the unlock code using the serial number.

Good Luck.

If it was that easy, just about any thief could simply steal your radio, get the serial number, call up a dealer and have a working stolen radio.

Sorry. I was just paraphrasing from a thread I read awhile back that covered the same topic. I was pretty sure the consensus was that radio unlock codes could be retrieved from Honda through a dealer using the radio's serial number and proof of ownership.

What is the correct information?

Craig
An ethical dealer will make you prove you own the radio. The best way would be to take the whole car in with proof of ownership. They should be able to cross reference the car's VIN with the radio's SN. I mean, who says the real owner of an S2000 didn't just steal someone else's radio?
I suppose there are always a few dealers out there that don't care about such things and for a fee, will give you the code without proof.
There would be no point to having radio codes for theft protection if thieves realized it was really easy to make a stolen HU work.

Just the vin number? You don't have to pull out the radio?
