i don't understand why some people feel the need to baby the car.

the top goes Up as well as Down. you won't get wet with the top up... hell you won't get wet with the top down either if you drive quickly. also, your tires aren't 'great' in the rain but they'll certainly work. just don't drive like you're on a racetrack.

just use your brain when youre driving. if youre going to drive like an idiot in that kind of weather you should be able to accept the consequences.

Pfft ! Go for a motorcycle ride over some twisty roads in some cold rain (hmm, that was my Sunday). Then come back to the S and enjoy the incredible luxury and sure-footedness of your S.

Haha I find it funny how some posts say us Socal people don't experience "real" weather conditions and can't talk until we do. That's kind of an oxymoron... we live in Socal because we don't want to see those weather conditions... ever. Norcal is gloomy as is for me. I need the sun, yesterday was like 70 degrees, I was about to cry.

raining in SoCal which is good because we need the rain-so how to enjoy the S while weather is bad??

My first idea is to go test drive at a dealership instead of wetting your own.
get all season tires
and if u drive 40-50+ it shoudlnt matter if your top is down
