Default Random Object Found on Engine Bay

While inspecting my engine bay, I discovered a cigarette bud sitting next to the intake filter. My thoughts(hey how did this get here...pretty random). Upon further analysis, I did do a mountain run this past weekend with a bunch of guys I just met. At one time the hood was open and I was not by my car. Some of these fellow S2Kers were also smokers.

In conclusion, I think I know who did it. Always know who you run with and be watchful(haters gonna hate)

I found a dead, smashed mouse in that same spot one time. I also periodically find small rocks there too. Odds are someone threw their butt out the window and you ran it over.

Pics? Haha!!! Running over a butt and having it lay there is not impossible. But odds are greater that "that" person placed it there. It was a Camel btw

All sorts of stuff flies up in there when your driving. I get leaves, dirt, rocks, etc all in there from just driving around.

I found well over two dozen acorns inside my stock air box while checking on the condition of the filter.. Needless to say the filter has probably never seen the light of day since the first owner 10 years ago. Wish people would take care of their cars haha

And, in a 1978 VW Rabbit diesel, I found squirrel poop pellets sitting on the battery. Also found numerous acorns tucked in the sound deadening pad on the underside of the hood. I identify with Elmer Fudd singing: "Kill the wabbit, kill the wabbit," except in my case it was 'kill the squirrel'. Those squirrels have accompanied me from Massachusetts all the way down here to South Carolina, where they do damage to my home and strip all the fruit from the palm tree in my front yard.

You have a cooling plate that vents to your fipk? That's the only way I can think of. (besides someone deliberately doing it)

Btw how was that run? My friend and I want to head up to blood mountain next weekend.
