Default Random Switch in S2000

Has anybody noticed a silver switch next to the passenger's seat? What does it do? Here's a random picture I found on eBay of it. Thanks guys!

isn't that for the boot ?

Sure looks like the boot clip to me, there is one on the drivers side also.

(Some people here call it the Tonneau cover but its a boot)

Its one of the latches for the toneau cover that you can have on the car to cover the roof when in the down position.

It's not a switch, it's for the top cover.
