Another 20 sets have shipped and the waiting list is now down to 20.
We are getting 30 pairs of diffusers out of each set of molds, which is far less than our predicted rate of 50 pairs per mold, so we are going to have to raise the price per set by $5.00 to cover the additional costs of having to make molds at a greater frequency. The price increase will go into effect sometime today.
Since we now have to make new molds, production will slow to ten sets this week, so we anticipate being completely caught up with current orders by the end of next week.
Prototypes for smoked diffusers have been made and we should have these available and in production next week or so. Here's a photo of the prototype lens taped over one of our installed clears and another of the stock amber next to our clear and smoked prototype:
