Default Rare Car!!!

Wow, just visited Germany and only saw one S2000! I couldn't believe it. I saw it in Rodgau (nice red one). I travelled between Alzey and Berlin over 1800 km and that was it. Sure wished for my S to drive on the Autobahn. I drove a Mercedes at about 130 mph for a little while.

I was wishing I was on the Autobahn this weekend. Have you noticed that just about everywhere you go in California (or any populated state) you run out of road before you can really let the S2K scream.

Oh I know there are rural areas, but nothing like the Autobahn, man that would be sweet!

The sales of S2000 in the first year (1999 but model year 2000) totaled 159 in Germany vs. 3,400 in the USA... So I imagine its still rare, even now.

dlq

The highlight of the trip for me (not the GF) was watching the Historic GranPrix of Monaco. The whole course was set for the real GranPrix the following weekend so it was almost like seeing the real thing.

They had some great cars racing - and based on the amount of bent metal - they were racing!

meat,

Just keep rubbing it in. Man, I would rather have seen the Historic, than the new stuff.. you can see them at Indy.

But as for Paris, I was there for three years -- my all time #1 city!

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I was in Hamburg last month and saw five of them within three days. It's not as rare as you may think.

Was in Santa Fe for two days and didn't see any. Saw some cool low riders, though. Lot of cruisers around the town square.
