Looks good. Did my chrome badges yesterday myself with some high temp engine enamel. Took 30 mins.

I agree - your car needs a bath - remember that it will always get commented on if you post pics of your car and it is dirty.

I think the black on black does look good and smoked side markers would look awesome!

OP, the badges and emblems are subtle, but really look great. I'm looking to get black side emblems and smoke the sidemarkers myself.
Looks great, did you prepare the emblem at all prior to spraying it?
Do you mind sharing what brand of enamel you used?

You can take your "wash please" and bite me. I drove 200 miles the night before to get to the dealer and got the badges put on the next day.

I'm sure you wash yours every day with living in Fl. and all. Never has any waterspots on it does it?
Easy tiger....I was just about to say the same thing. What does driving 200miles have to do with washing your car

Thanks Nancy(GT_NFR), but when did this turn into a thread about washing my car. Just to clear up the big mystery, I asked the person who installed them when I could wash the car. He told me to wait a day before washing it. Gosh I was a bit excited to have the work done and get some pictures....that I took them before I could wash it the next day......silly me.....who knew it would be so by a few folks here.

So that should take the wonder out of it Nancy.....hope I've been able to clear that right up for you.

352s2000 - you can bite me to.....I will wash my car when I want to, and I like my sense of humor.

Thanks to everyone else who offered good feedback.

^ Appreciate it......

Never tried anger management.....didn't need to in the Corps.....and believe me, I'm a lot more relaxed than I used to be. I put the thread up to give folks some ideas, not to elicit comments as to the state of detail my car was in at that time. I am a dad and I have more to do than detail my car to the Nth degree whenever it gets some spots on it. This is not to say that I don't try to keep it as nice as possible. So yes, I do get somewhat irritated when I get comments like the ones I've taken issue with.

But you see....once you get to know me....I'm a really great guy, and have a great sense of humor.

See....here is one......what do you call a cat that can't use the litter box?

Illiterate ... see it's a great sense of humor.
