The parts manager at the dealer that I work at showed me the new accessory list for 2004. Here is what is listed:

1. Rio Yellow (replaces Spa Yellow)
2. Headrest speakers
3. New Style front underbody
4. New Style wing spoiler


No pictures where included, nor any information If these accessories will fit 00-03.

 

Headrest speakers?? Wow, that's new to me, hopefully these changes will come through.

where does it say anything about the new seats?
the headrest speakers sound like they would be very similar to the S-Pods that the Sac. people developed.

This would be very nice if complatible with older models.

 

I wonder if that new wing they are talking about is the same that was on the S2000 in the article posted here about Honda Factory Performance. That one was a wing, unlike the current offering.

What happened to the 2200 engine?? and the 250 HP??

 

 

An American Honda DM shared with me that '04 will be the last year of production for our "style" S2000. He mentioned a new restyled S2000 (or bearing a similar name) will be introduced for '05 with a larger displacement and more horsepower.

I knew of the color addition, but the front and rear spoilers, along with the headrest speakers is all new. Thanks for sharing this information.

I wonder how much of this will be compatible with present model S2000's. I hope the headrest speakers actually make it. That Kelton Subwoofer (which would slip under the passenger seat) was promised but never actually made it to production.
