But when he touts his opinion as "FACT" or "the truth about cars" well then that's directly misleading and dishonest. The guy is an idiot, plain and simple. No matter what cars he reviews. Opinion is just that. It's not "fact" nor is it "truth" for everyone else. He apparently thinks otherwise.

 

This guy was just brutal about the S2K. To me it just seems that if the S2K came with a V8, his perception on the car would be a whole lot different. But since it's a 4-cylinder, he had to bash on it not realizing that this "4-banger" could keep up with most 6-cylinder sports cars.

I don't know... maybe his wife turned him down the night before writing the article and he was a little upset and decided to take it out on the S2K?!?!?!?!?

 

His website should be "What I think about cars"

Everything he dislikes is a matter of taste. (apart from the radio)
Everything he DOES like is why I like the car too.
Suspension setup, Engine's revs, Gearbox.
Those are the 3 ingredients you really need to be GOOD in a car.
IMO.
And they are GOOD in a S2000.

But I still think that guy is an A**hole.

Every car review is subjective. If car reviews were purely objective, they would contain nothing but specifications.

I think that the author raised some valid points. The S2000 isn't perfect.

 

Jesus, you think this review is worth getting upset about?! Talk about thin skin. He says he doesn't like the interior, and the engine sound isn't to his liking. So what? This you get all pissed off about and have to write the guy calling him an idiot?

Look, I love my little Honda. I think it's a great car. I don't necessarily agree with all of his gripes, either. But, take the criticism of the CAR (not you, not your Mom, not your spouse) a little bit more like a man and a little bit less like a three year old girl with diaper rash.

 

I hope you realize the guy is an idiot, NOT because he has a negative opinion about the S2000, but because he touts that "opinion" as "fact" and "the truth".


By the way, you're no better than the poster of this thread. You responded to him the same way he responded to the writer of that article. You got your panties in just as much of a bunch about this post as he did about that article. pot, kettle, black.
