Default really stupid question(s)

stupid question: i think because i cannot find an official spec on this on the honda website but i did search this forum and found in the 04 improvements a quote from the press release that the car would have heated side mirrors but have found some threads and googled this and found some sites where people complain about the lack of heated mirrors and i know that supposedy 04+ models have so maybe i'm just confused. is there clarification on this?

i know these are irrelevant questions to the true nature of the car but i can't help but ask sorry.

thanks

ps - is there a way to replace the accelerator pedal to make it be on the floor as opposed to suspended from the top??? i'm sure theoretically there is but in practical practice has it been done or can it be done with conventional means maybe like a mod kit or something?

the pedal is from the top down. The only cars i've seen that has a bottom mounted pedal are german cars. I'm not sure about which years had heated mirrors but I think you're right that AP2's have them and not AP1's.

No heated mirrors in the U.S.

Pedal pivot on the floor is a BAD idea. There is a reason it is the way that it is.

yep, no heated mirrors on my car, not that it really needs them, at all since it is a garage queen and doesnt get driven in winter time, but still, it doesnt have them.

Agree, no heated mirrors on MY04 and up. But I do have heated seats and they are great!

as far as the pedal not a big deal was just wondering. it's not a big deal at all i always just found the floor pedals easier for long drives but then again this car doesn't scream comfortable anyway so i shouldn't be crying and honestly i don't really care if there was an easy way to mod it i prob would but i guess it's not even worth it since i can imagine it being very complicated to do.

the heated mirror thing the reason i ask is because i will be driving this car a lot to beach areas in NY way out east in long island and during the nights its stupid cloudy and it would be nice to have heated mirrors as i've hard cars with and without and without it is a major PITA. i'm sure this is an easier custom job and once i get the s2k i will probably do it. if it's available on the euro models i'm sure even at a bit of a price tag i should be able to just order replacement mirrors from europe somehow through somewhere no?
