Default Rear Big Brakes?

Im looking into getting a Brembo BBK for the front and rear so I was looking on Comptech's website. I noticed that the Brembo kit that they sell comes with 12.7" rear rotors and rear rotor relocator brackets. I am wondering if the emergency brake can still be used with this set-up. If nobody knows, I will wait til Monday to contact Comptech. Thanks for any info!

yes, the kit basically uses a larger rear rotor (only in diameter) and relocates the stock rear caliper to match the new rotor. I talked to Shad about it during Fall Colors. I think they have a good balanced setup.

cheers

Thank you very much for your input Mr. El Dasher. I feel that your knowledge is definitely one of the best on the boards, so I will trust your opinion. BTW...im still waiting to hear from you when your next batch of rollbars is done. Im also interested in your turbo set-up and a set of Kinesis in the near future. Thanks again!

Two more questions...does anybody know if the rear rotors that they sell have the same exact drilled pattern as the Brembo front rotors. Also, is there anywhere to buy the Brembo caliper stickers so that it would say Brembo on all 4 calipers? Thanks!

Here is a link to some for sale on ebay. They're in the UK, but I am sure you can find some in the US too. Perhaps contact Brembo North America.

Thanks for the compliments above. I certainly feel undeserving of such praise and I am some what embaressed, you give me way more credit than I deserve.

Not to hi-jack the topic, I will PM you responses to your questions.

cheers

Thank you very much again Mr. El Dasher. I look forward to hearing the answer regarding the dilled pattern of the rear rotors. The praise was definitely true.

What do you mean drill pattern? You mean the wheel bolt pattern? If so, then yes, the car uses 5x 114.3mm

Thanks again for the reply Mr. El Dasher. What I am asking is, the front rotors that Brembo makes are drilled. I believe they use an "X-pattern" or something like that for the drilling. Im wondering if the rotors will look the exact same as the Brembo front rotors, except for them being 12.7 inches instead of 13". When I looked at the pic on Comptech's site the front rotors appear to be drilled different than the rear rotors. Know what I mean? Thanks again. Merry X-Mas and Happy Holidays!
