Rear bumper alignment still an issue in 06?

Default Rear bumper alignment still an issue in 06?

hi, i did a search but couldnt find the topic. i was wondering, do you owners of MY06 s2ks have the rear bumper alignment issues that were somewhat of a problem on the previous MYs? i wanted to see if honda fixed this issue on the 06. thanks in advance.

Haven't noticed anything, but maybe I'm not looking in the right place. Can you tell me where would find the "gap"?

Passenger side- where rear corner panel/rear bumper meet.

fit and finish is perfect. they usually have you do a walk-around
before you drive off the lot, and if you see it, just tell them.

There was a post somewhere that shows pics of it, I'm too lazy to look right now.

When you look at the car on the side, you'll see the horizontal line of the rear bumper going from behind the wheels to the tail light. Where the line meets the tail light is the problem. The line is slightly sweep upward and usually open out, not flush along with the rear quarter panel.

I say this before, and will say this again. The new plant is sux, overall quality of fit and finnish is not as good as when they made it at the old plant at all. Despite having stiffer chassis on AP2, there's more rattle than AP1 I had, I don't get it...

I don't have either of those issues. The bumper fits perfectly, and especially considering it's a convertable, the car is VERY tight.
