I've done a search on this board, but I've been unable to find a sure answer.

I'm considering removing the rear Honda emblem, and was wondering if there are mounting holes, or if it's a double-sided tape installation?

Anyone know?

Thanks-

Unfortunately there are two little holes under the badge, both front AND back...

I found out the hard way just this weekend that there are indeed 2 mounting holes for the rear badge. I had decided to remove mine after another poster said that he DID NOT have mounting holes on his rear badge, just his front. What's up with that? Does anybody else NOT have mounting holes for their rear badges??

exNSX-

Can't you just let this one rest!

It's kinda funny! You e-mail me privately and say you hope I didn't take offence to your comments and then you continue your little jabs in a new thread. As I recall you never asked me directly about the holes. If I remember correctly I stated that the front badge used the holes+adhesive and the rear badge used adhesive only you made the inference that if there was adhesive only there must be no holes! A+B does not always equal C! As I recall you never asked me a question directly you just assumed that was the case and you know what they say about ASSumptions!

Anyway, is it really that big a freakin' deal?

Just put the old badge back on or buy one of Rick's and get over it!

It's just a badge dude!

Mack-- chill!

I didn't name you or otherwise implicate you in this thread! I was just trying to point out that there may be some confusion out there regarding this issue.

I've done this at least 30 times now. Every Badge has two holes beneath it both front and back.

Front

Back

Thanks PokS2k!

James

Thanks for the post James!

I see where I got a bit confused. My car had the smoked badges that were an option. I don't think the rear in that case had the mounting prongs and I guess I didn't look closely enough at the car to confirm that the holes weren't there.

I apologize to anyone that might have taken my comments as fact...not naming any names here! I think you've cleared this up for all of us James!

James,

Thanks for the pictures, it can't get any more graphic than that!

Maybe the confusion is that Rick's "S" badges have guide posts for the front badge, and flush (no posts) for the rear badge. Although I'm not sure about that one either.

Any comments.

Cheers -
