I'm sure you didn't post this thread to get flamed on, so I hope all goes well. It's a shame how you only had her for a month, but that's what insurance is for.

Not really sure you meant to say handling limitations - this was not a case of limited handling ability - it was a case of overly aggressive driving - it was the driver not the car....
Any car can only be driven So agressive until you come to a point of what happened to him... Wether you want to call them "handling limitations" or not, the fact of the matter is you wouldn't be able to go around a 90 degree turn at 120 mph (extreme example) and expect everything to be fine and dandy. That was my point. We all know the s2000 is one of the best handling cars on the road.

thanks everyone.

yes, this was definitely driver error, gravel or not. i've learned my lesson and i'm taking this as a wake up call to learn to treat the FR as an FR. i need some road course time under my belt.

i'm fresh out of college with a new job so i figured i'd take the RWD route and get an AP (i still have my trusty EG), it's definitely a different animal.

oh yeah... lol

that was taken the weekend after i got the car. i heard a whole mess of change sliding around underneath the center body panel and behind the seats (like in the metal xbone cavity itself). i found about 7 bucks worth of change in there... i still hear one or two coins taunting me. i dont know how the previous owner dumped that much in there...

i'll get em all soon enough.

From what I can see, your car is repairable. The only unknown is if there's major frame damage. That said, I'd add this advice: AUTOCROSS YOUR CAR ASAP!!
