Default Rear Fenderwell Stolen/Missing?

So I was walking up to my car at wal-mart, and my wheel wells have been bugging me for a week and I couldn't place it, but as I was about to open the trunk it hit me. I can see the top of my exhaust, like the entire top of the muffler.
I am pretty sure I'm not meant to be able to see that from the wheel well? I still have the piece above the tire but I am thinking the part that should be covering the rear is missing.
Is it missing? And how much should I expect to pay to replace them new or from a wrecked s2k?

there no inner fender lining for the rear bumper similar to that of the front bumper. You can see in there and see the exhaust.

That is weird that honda did that, it bugged the hell out of me after I noticed it and I kept worrying they had been stolen because I kept noticing all other cars has a piece of lining that blocks you from seeing the muffler.
Thanks for the reply!

Being able to see through the wheel well to the road makes me cringe every time I see it on an S... so cheap looking. Wish they included a fender liner back there.

It'd be dead weight on a not-too-light car. I actually prefer it this way; less "crap that serves no purpose except to get in the way when you need an angle on something".

If it bothers you, coilovers and a drop will hide it. =P
