Just had my axle nuts tightened today. Honda dealer installed new nuts, put a bit of lube and tech used a air gun to tighten 'em down. No more clicking or poping.... I am a happy man....

I've had this TSB done twice and I still get the dang noise. It'll go away for maybe a month or two then come right back. It's getting annoying having to get the car fixed so often.

I've had the inner cv joints and axle nut TSB done myself and I think the popping is coming back a little bit when I reverse at a hard angle...

What I would like to know is has anybody on here had the rear hub nuts replaced and re-torqued and did that cure this noise?
I believe this has helped some (replacing the nuts is new to me, however), here are a some different situations with different solutions:

I don't know if using an air gun could be considered torqued to spec.
You might consider having someone else check the work with the proper tools. IMHO
