Rear Speakers!!!

Default Rear Speakers!!!

Has anyone successfully installed rear speakers on S. Is the rear channels hot already on the S. Would like info and pics.

Dude, TONs of people have installed rear speakers. Check out the electronics forum. Check out the link in my sig. Check out http://www.lucidautomotive.com

Basically, no, it is not pre-wired. The HU has the outputs, but the harness does not. You would need a new harness.

You can also contact summas2k, he just had this done on his car and could provide you with some personal insight. I also have rears but I don't run the stock HU.

You don't need a new harness just tap the harness thats there already.

Since there are no wires for the rear speakers coming out of the stock harness, you have to be really good at soldering fine wires in a space limited area. I'm not good at all and for me, the Lucid harness was well worth the money.

lucid's rear speakers are a must!!

and you can use them with upgraded systems too...

None of the models have OEM rear speakers... yet.
