Default rear trunk vent

Does anyone have pictures of the vent in the trunk that leads to the rear bumper? If not, any directions on where to find it would be very helpful to keep me from pulling up all the carpeting in the trunk to find it. Thanks.

Its up and on the left side next to the licence plate holder. Just reach under the bumper you'll feel it.

In case you have a leaky seal and you get water in there, the water won't just sit there waiting for you to discover it in a week (when it would be a little swampy).

Its to release the pressure from the car and also to let the interior breath a little. Its a oneway vent. Most cars have these somewhere, some in the taillights some in the bumper, some built into the side windows.
