After 17K miles, my rear tires were worn almost to no tread. But the fronts still looked pretty good, they probably have another 5K or so left in them. Has anyone else had a disparity like that between front and rear wear? I've never seen that happen before. These are the stock S-02s.

Most people have the rears wear before the fronts.

I replaced my rears @ 15k & will replace my fronts @ around 30k (if I'm lucky). From what I've gathered, that's normal.

Same here. Normal since the rears do all the work. Wear is even more if you drive hard, spin tires, etc. I replaced my fronts at 21K and the rear at 12K and 24K.

S2k is a REAR wheel drive, so rear tires will lose thread much more.
P.S. Wow, only at 17k. Never vteced?

12K rear, 18K front. That's what I got out of them. Pretty normal.

Yep, my front tires last roughly twice as long as the rear.

10k rear and 20k front I estimate (and that's not thrashing it - too much!)

Sounds like I shouldn't get my hopes up for 30k up front.

2 to 1 is about the normal for our car.

Get used to it.
