How much do the 00-01 plastic rear windows cost? Just the window, not the whole top. Is it easy to replace a plastic rear window?

 

I had it done by insurance late last year (some punks vandalized my car) and it was about $600 to $700 of the insurance quote....

They have to take quite a bit apart to get to that top and rip it all apart.

Wish we had something like the Z8 where it just zippers in....

 

the part alone is $225. thats before the labor of putting it in.

if i were to replace my top, I'd go with the glass rear window

 

If you go glass, you need to replace the whole top.

A couple grand for parts and labor, I think.
