rear plastic windows
Can anyone advise of a cheaper option than Honda directly to replace rear window - put roof down and it split ? Thanks in advance

I haven't seen any aftermarket window options....honestly though, I'd say just get Hardtopguy to send you a new top with a glass window...$900US if you install it yourself. A new rear plastic will cost you $250US. I'll never replace my rear plastic except with glass. I feel your pain and am in the same boat, but 3 windows later, you could have bought the glass window top.

I was under the impression that if you went from a plastic window top to a glass window top that there were some fairly extensive modifications that had to be done to the frames. Is this still the case?

No, there are no extensive modifications, there is a $15 elastic strap set from modifry, he has the instructions. All you do is attach the straps when you replace the top and it will pull the furthest rear frame bow forward to give enough room for the glass to lay flat. So extensive mods, no, easy and very fulfilling, yes. And Hardtopguy's glass tops come with the rear defroster wiring.
