Default Rear window questions

I've found the article in the Library about the care for the rear window but I still have a few questions:

https://www.s2ki.com/article/articleview/49/1/29/

1. Where do you find the products listed in the article? I've driven all over town (in my "other" vehicle. Save the S for fun rides. ) to find the cleaner.

Product name / Part number
Meguiar

try www.properautocare.com thats where i get all my stuff. I've tried the Meguiar's 2 step process and in my opinion, its no better than Plexus. Meguiar's did nothing for the bigger scratches on my plastic window.

I had the same problem. I wound up using the Blue Magic, and it works just fine. Ofcourse, nothing will make a scratched up window look brand new again, but the Blue did help a lot. I bought my '01 used and the window was in bad shape. The Blue Magic made a big improvement, but its still obviously scratched up. Good Luck.

I'm the same way. I just picked up a '01 S and the back window is pretty bad. It's fine during the day but at night I can't see a thing.

What is Kit Scratch-Out? Where do you get it? I'll check www.properautocare.com again but didn't see it earlier.

Bluemagic will stain your top. It took me forever to get that crap off my top. I don't think it works very well. Get the Meguiars and Plexus.

Scratch-Out is made by Kit, who makes several low-grade car waxes. It can be found at most auto parts stores. Look for a small, bright yellow bottle. The product is made to take out scratches on clear coat finishes, but does say it is appropriate for clear plastic right on the label. I was skeptical about this product when encouraged by another member of this board to use it, but was very pleased with the results. It is more aggressive than Meguirs, but still gentle. In addition to clearing up scratches, it's great at clearing the fog caused by plastics gassing off in a new car. It will leave white residue on the black top, however, so be careful. And next time you are in the Honda dealer ask for Honda Pro Plastic Cleaner and Polish. Better than Plexus or Prist for upkeep, IMO.
