I think that unless you plan on doing a lot of driving over 120 mph, a wing like that is pointless. Pretty much any wing will ruin the S2000 IMO. I even question the factory wing. I'm not a hater of big wings, hell you should see some old pics of my 99 Prelude, but as far as the S2000 goes, I'd leave it the way it is, without a wing.

NO. Overdone for a street car. Dukes of Hazzard comes to mind.

"Prolene: Absolutely not, but with the downforce that could be generated, the person driving the S2K that has one may have the last laugh passing me in a high speed sweeper!"
NOT that one - too Boy Racer for me. How much down force does one actually need and how fast are you willing to go to get it (most wings don't give you much until over 100 mph)? Pretty much anybody with or without wing can pass me in a high speed sweeper. I won't be going that much faster than the speed limit anyhow. Besides, I'll catch up and wave at 'em when the cops pull them over.

Downforce? Yes, I am sure it creates downforce.
But don't most vehicles that would use some significant downforce also have an aerodynamic spoiler of some sort to increase front end downforce?
Going around that sweeper faster than you, and then having the front end lift would result in you passing him as he spins into the outside (or worse).
All forces have to be balanced somehow.
Unless all you want is to make "visual" downforce.
My vote is "No".

I prefer something subtler. The oem rear spoiler works for me. I've also seen one that looked like the ones on the Accord coupe.

After browsing around for a picture of the AP-1 Mugen wing, I think it looks fairly subtle and nice. If I want to have a wing on my S2000, that would be the one.

But of course, I'd probably choose to spend the money on cheap sparco race seats and 4-pt harnesses or LTW flywheels.
