I used to post a lot more when I first bought the car in 2000 but now I post less frequently because the general level of the posts have become a lot less interesting. I don't know if it's because the owners have become younger or because the new generation of owners are different from the initial generation of roadster enthusiasts. But the site has changed.

Plus the same topics come up over and over again. How many times do I want to talk or read about hp gains.

Nonetheless, I still plan to keep coming to this site because I still find it entertaining and a good source of information.

I posted all of my questions a couple of years ago. All the new questions have already been answered dozens of times. This is the first time I've seen this particular question, so you get an answer.

The real reason is that I'm too busy working...

I'm new and doing alot of reading/learning. I contribute when I can but I can easily see from doing searches that most topics are frequently revisited. I have already met with local S2k owners from this board and hope to meet more. The information and ideas for mods and maintenance has been excellent! I hope that in time I will fumble with it enough to provide some helpful tips for others or newbies too.

Membership is only a matter of time I think.

Amen... if people are as enthusiatic about this website as they are about their car (i.e. >=1 post per day), they should forgo a good bottle of wine, or a couple of six-packs and join.

I post when .... I feel, I can positively contribute to the topic. As stated before most of the threads have been discussed several times.

I am not a gear head I can't contribute to posts re: mechanical issues unless, it's something I have personally dealt with, with my car.

Same here, but then we ARE posting ... looks like at least daily . Not being "into" cars, if the motor starts when you turn the key (or push the button ), Great! If not, I usually use a "checkbook wrench."

This has been a great thread! It prompted me to join S2KI & help support the cause!! Thanks to all who have worked so hard to make it possible & to those who have positively contributed & made the site such a valuable resource.
