Recaro Baby Seats
Anyone ever use them in their S2000? Have any pics? Im thinking of getting one. Also is it safe to have the top down with them in it?
Also which seat is nicer? I have Full Red Interior.

I have the Desert Sand color.
It is unsafe top-down or in an S2000 in general. But I'm not a safe guy either

At the time, Recaro did not make any seats for infants. Now I think you can get the Recaro Como for infants. It's surprisingly affordable and there are baby seats that are much more expensive.
Fairly certain owners manual says no children in car seats for the S2000. Especially if you can't deactivate the Airbag.

No kids, please
But the S2000 has one glaring deficiency: No turnoff switch for the passenger frontal airbag, which means it can be dangerous for young ones to ride in this car.
Because of the threat of child injuries and fatalities caused by airbags, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration advises children age 12 and under to ride in a vehicle's back seat, away from frontal airbags. That's not possible in the S2000, obviously, and with no switch to turn off the frontal passenger bag, I was forced to ask: What's a parent to do? Pressed on this issue, a Honda spokesman said drivers shouldn't take children in this car.

We also have a Recaro Young Sport for our daughter (same as medicalstudent shows above, but in black). But it's never been in the S2000, only the Pilot so I can't offer any info there
Great car seat; our daughter seems to be very comfortable in it. Has excellent side impact protection. Can be used from 20 - 70 lbs IIRC. Not cheap (we paid $250 from Amazon), but worth every dollar IMO.
