I rode motorcycles (Sport bikes) for five years.. and I love their performance and everything about them other than the fact that for daily driving it, you only got two wheels. The S is the perfect solution in my life. I am so happy I have this car, and the mods I have done to it to bring me even closer to the experience (though still never "close" ) of my bikes.

I use the hardtop 24/7 though, it totally transforms the car for me and it is the reason I bought the S2K. I know all about Honda and I know their passion for motorsports, and I am all for it. The S2000 rocks because it's a daily driveable race car.

It looks so awesome...like how can't you think, "Wow I'll be driving that when I get back!"
Damn right brother!

I've had mine for 4 months now and I love it.

2 seats: It's not the most versatile car for carrying stuff or people, but that's what friends with trucks are for.

Soft top: make sure you take car of it, and it will take care of you (use the conditioner to keep it soft and moisturized)

Suspension/ride: I think the suspension is really soft and comfortable. My friend thinks his ride is really comfortable too, and he is running on 14kg/mm coilovers. I think you just get used to it. either that or your spine no longer exists and you don't feel it. win/win either way

If you're a car person then you definitely won't regret it. Enjoy the car and remember. RWD is a whole 'nother animal. If you get cocky in the the S2k it'll slap you right back and make you it's b*tch. I crashed mine on my second day of ownership. So learn a lesson from me, learn your limits first and never push yourself on the streets. But most importantly, have fun!

The only time I regret only having 2 seats is when I'm going to lunch with coworkers or heading out to the clubs with friends (its not so bad, we just have to take their car(s)).

The lack of storage space doesn't bother me one bit, the trunk is large enough to pack for a 2-person weekend getaway.

It also sucks storing the car for 5 months per year, but thats my choice, lots of people drive them through the snow.

I've heard the same things. Buy this, don't buy that. I buy what I want and if I'm not satisfied with it, I sell it and buy something else.

Life is too short to drive a car without soul.

I'd probably regret it if it was my only car. But I don't live in Florida.

It's my daily driver for the last 1,5 years, before that I had an Audi TT Roadster. No real problems, no regrets, softtop is good, gas mileage also (9

Wow so far the concensius is Awsome car.

yeah i love it.

this conditior stuff i'll have to look into as i wanna keep this gem shiny and beautiful till i'm wrinkly and old.

gotta love honda and its persuite of Speed and Economy.

yeah i'm still getting used to RWD its alot different but i like it. easier to whip around but that is also scary at the same time

as far as suspension goes the Prelude has a pretty hard suspension so i feel pretty much at home with the car itsn an 2002.

thanks! and merry Christmas!

The only thing I regret, now and then, is being unable to carry a third person, even uncomfortably. I have a child, and there's not a lot of flexibility when the car pretty much starts out full.

Living with it: don't worry, it doesn't get worse, it gets better as you learn to drive it the way it wants to be driven, and to get the most out of the space that it has. Don't heed the doubters -- if you love it now, you'll love it in six months.

i havent regretted getting my car since i bought it. I live in alaska, so my summer is like your winter, but it has been great since the day I have had it. I do miss it right now since it is just parked inmy garage till the snow melts, but I would rather drive a truck in 2 feet of snow than a s2000 any day. Next summer will just make it that much more special when I get to drive it again. Enjoy the car while you can and be happy you have it. Drive safe.
