Thumbs up Recommended shift points

I am trying to figure out what my optimal shift point is for each gear. I developed a spreadsheet which identifies my speed in each gear at each RPM along with the corresponding RWHP. Here is a "paste" of the spreadsheet:

4.56
3.785 2.470 1.789 1.402 1.138 0.922 HP
5000 22 33 46 58 72 88 151
5100 22 34 46 59 73 90 154
5200 22 34 47 60 74 92 156
5300 23 35 48 62 76 94 158
5400 23 36 49 63 77 95 162
5500 24 36 50 64 79 97 168
5600 24 37 51 65 80 99 175
5700 25 38 52 66 82 101 180
5800 25 38 53 67 83 103 182
5900 25 39 54 69 85 104 185
6000 26 40 55 70 86 106 190
6100 26 40 56 71 87 108 195
6200 27 41 56 72 89 110 200
6300 27 42 57 73 90 111 203
6400 28 42 58 74 92 113 204
6500 28 43 59 76 93 115 205
6600 28 44 60 77 95 117 206
6700 29 44 61 78 96 118 208
6800 29 45 62 79 97 120 210
6900 30 46 63 80 99 122 213
7000 30 46 64 81 100 124 216
7100 31 47 65 83 102 126 219
7200 31 48 66 84 103 127 222
7300 31 48 67 85 105 129 225
7400 32 49 67 86 106 131 227
7500 32 50 68 87 107 133 230
7600 33 50 69 88 109 134 232
7700 33 51 70 90 110 136 233
7800 34 51 71 91 112 138 234
7900 34 52 72 92 113 140 235
8000 34 53 73 93 115 141 237
8100 35 53 74 94 116 143 238
8200 35 54 75 95 117 145 236
8300 36 55 76 97 119 147 234

Based on this information, it would appear that I would want to shift at 8300 RPMs in 1st, 2nd and 3rd whereas I could shift around 8000 RPMs in 4th and 5th.

If you want max acceleration, shift just before fuel cutoff.

always shift as high as you can. the lower you shift, the lower the rpms are going to be when you apply power through the next gear. lower rpms = less power. shifting higher will result in a higher power average through the gear for the entire rpm range. think about it.. say when you shift at 8300 the rpms drop to 6300 for the next gear. when you shift at 8000 they drop to 6000. would you rather apply 23x power from 8000 to 8300 or 190-200 from 6000-6300.
