Default Record for spring spacers?

No, not me. But I was helping a friend put in Tein coilovers last weekend, and guess what we found in the front left wheel-well?

Yep, two full spring spacers. Somewhat disengaged so we're not sure how much effect they had.

Then we found part of one on the front right spring.

Frank Kent Honda.

The report is that the Teins make the car feel better, but he hasn't had a chance to corner-balance them or do any track work yet.

That's sad really. No one noticed this during the changing of tires or anything.

Yeah, I didn't even notice until the owner did and pointed them out to me. I was even looking right at them - they simply didn't register because I never thought to look for them!

Hopefully the dealers have figured it out by now, though - this was a MY00 car, when left over spring spacers were fairly common.

I just found 2 on my front right spring after 53K miles. I am surprised no one noticed it when they changed my tires. Have no idea what kind of affect it had on the spring...but the car feels better
