Hi Scott,
How much did you pay for the hardtop?
Did you install it yourself or elsewhere?
If so, how much did you pay for the installation?
I also have an nfr hard top on my car and i love it.
As far as cost and installation goes, I paid 2300 for the top at my local honda dealership. My mom, yes that's right, my mom went to the dealership and talked them down since the top was a gift for me. And i installed it myself, once again with the help of my mom who knows nothing about cars. The install is pretty simple if you print out the instructions that are floating around here somewhere.
It took us maybe 2 hours.
*side note* my mom helped me because i'm a 19 year old college student. haha and yes i pay for my own car.
briantx, nice to see someone young like me pays for their own cars. There are too many spoiled brats around the HS area, where I live, that look down on my because they have a more expensive ride than me. Sh#@ at least I pay for my own stuff instead of getting handouts my entire life. Props to ya.
for my price I paid $2400 with hardware and it came with a trunk/oem spoiler combo. Took me and my boy Tom about an 1 hour or so. Very easy install. Just pull out the some interior pieces and you are all good from there. Frankly I was shocked at how easy it really was just need some basic tools and you are good. Also two people is def a plus when you go and put the top on the car. Makes things so much easier.
Nice NFR by the way briantx. Looking good . Plus on your mom buying you parts for you car. My parents and exgirl always refused to have any of my presents car oriented lol. They say it's a money pit I don't know why they think that .

Love it. Not sure what you mean by looks "OKAY," I think this looks good.
I think NFR looks fantastic with a matching OEM hardtop. I'd buy one, but I can't justify the cost where I currently live. If I move to an area with a colder climate where I won't be putting the top down in the winter, I'll have one.
Whether you buy from him or not, PM hardtopguy or go to his site at hardtopguy.com. Jeff use to be a HOnda tech, parts manager and owns an S.
I paid $2,600 for mine in a group buy last summer. HTG helped me install it which took less than 30 mins as there was a storm rolling in. If you have any mechanical ability, you can install it yourself, but you will need a friend to lift it into position--never a one person job.
