Yea, I agree the carpet is pretty crappy. I think if I go through with this project I'll probably do the door inserts and seat only. Then I'd buy Rick's console cover, shift boot, and head rest, of course. Sorry 2x6Spds, I'm a high school student, I don't have the money for a custom interior.

What is perforated leather and what are it's advatnages/disadvantages over regular leather?

OK OK, what I meant was, daddy does not want to spend money on a red interior, and he definitely would not want to spend money on a custom interior. So I have to make my own money to convert my interior. So even though I would love to have black seats with red inserts, I don't have the money to get them.

Daddy might consider swapping black for red with another owner that has red and wants black. It will only cost you shipping. You might look at this option as it has been done before.

It would be foolish to waste your money on those Katzkin custom seat covers anyway. They don't use top quality leather -- according to my reliable sources in the industry, it's second or third-grade stuff.
