red interior
After seeing JasonB's pics http://get.to/s2002 , I reconsidered
Following a misunderstanding regarding the interior color code and underinformed salesman, i ended up with an all-red interior whereas I thought I'd ordered a mix red interior. What caused the misunderstanding is that the SAME Honda code "MX" stands for different interiors for 2000-1 (mix red with red door inlays) and 2002 (all-red)
. (additionally fyi, "M" stands for all-black and "MY" for red seats/carpet).
So I now have the all-red interior and so far mixed feelings about it. I have received 80:20 good:bad feedback on it, but at the end of the day I am the one who must like it. Since I got it in October I haven't really had the chance to see it top down with the sun on it much.
Anyway, I have a signed letter of the garage who offers free-of-charge to swap the interior with a "MY" new interior until June when they receive the car with the "MY" interior. Until then I will have to decide.
The decision is made all the more difficult by the fact that I'm afraid of rattles etc. with the new interior fitted and that I probably wouldn't be able to warranty-claim against if ever it should be the case. Otherwise I'd basically like to play it safe and go for the swap.
I'd appreciate any comments / advice!
Thanks,
.dave.

IMHO, if you don't like it a lot, it's not for you.
