Alright guys, here's the deal. I found an 02 S2k silver / red int. with 48k miles with a price that I like. The only problem I have with it is the red interior. I love the car, but the interior is just kinda odd to me.

My dad and I restored a 72' 240z thats the same color combo and it didn't look that bad.

What are your thoughts on red interiors? How hard would it be to swap out? I just wish the interior was two tone red like newer s2k. Can I change out the dash to a black one / paint the current one easily? Has anyone done a complete interior conversion before? How hard was it?

Don't paint it or I will laugh at you lol...not that hard to swap it out...just find some1 who has black pieces and swap or buy the parts

Its a matter of personal preference. I love the all red interior in MY02s, looked for over a year but couldn't find a good one. Some will agree, some will disagree. Swapping interiors is a relatively simple thing - many members have done it, including me. However, the typical swap is seats, console, door inserts and carpet. Swapping out the entire dash is a way different story.

 

its ugly and never should be on s2000, so all u 07+ with red interior i think u should trade me for my black interior
