I have a laguna blue s2000 and I love it.I get complimented on it
and I feel good in it.I originally had a new 2001 red s2000... Those
were days,people asking what is that car,beautiful red and so forth.

Prior to the red s2000,I had a 95 red gsr and was thinking,enough already,
11 years of red cars. If I get a new 2006 red s2000 many will just think
it's the same car. Well the Laguna was really nice,bigger wheels,VSA,glass
window and so on.

I was at my son's wedding last year speaking to my
son's friend and he said "Mr. xxxxxxx,I love your car but really thought
your red one was outstanding.

Hey, we all have different views,feelings etc. but I think if there is a next sports
car in my life,it will be red.

 

I've always loved red cars as well. The only negative is that with as much positive attention that you get, you receive the same amount of negative attention from cops. For that reason, I'm happy with my GPW.

 

i agree. when i was looking for my s all i found was spa, sebring, and suzuka. then i got lucky and found my nfr. as soon as i laid eyes on it i had to get it haha. people come up to me all the time and ask, and its a great feeling. as for cops, they pay me no mind. kind of odd if you ask me.

 

Interesting perspectives here. I actually dont like red cars although I DO like NFR s2000s. Generally I dont like red at all.

 

I generally don't like red cars . . . except sports cars.

And then, generally only true sports cars. We looked at a 5.0 Mustang last week. Looks okay in red, but it's hot in the dark silver.

However, Ferraris, Porsches, RX-7s, MX-5s, S2000s, Vettes, etc., they all look great in red.

 

Love my NFR. When I got my S, I really didn't care what color I got as long as I was able to get one, but the NFR has definitely grown to be my favorite color.

 

Mine is an NFR... I am colorblind... People say they really like the color... I say yeah...

 

i like red... this is my 2nd gpw but i was looking hard at the reds...

but my F40 is red... and then i woke up...

 

I agree with all of you, before the S i hated red.. And so far i've gotten no tickets, and i dont think (at least here) that cops have a special eye out for red, kind of a silly theory really...

 

Before I bought my Silverstone I almost bought a NFR. Due to the guy flaking on me after I sold my car at the time, I had to get the best S available at the time. I really, really wanted NFR but my Silverstone has definitely grown on me.
