Mine is a 2003, looks better than the day I got it. Absolutely no fade. It all depends on how you keep your car. My car never has less than 4 coats of wax on it, and is clayed AT LEAST once a month.
Thank you....the pics were taken with a 5mp Olympus C50. A regular point and shoot camera. The pics look like that thanks to our friend photoshop. Im stepping up to an SLR soon (30D) so hopefully, they will be even nicer. However, most of the time, its not the camera, its the photog
red was my first choice then white then black couldnt find any nfr so white was the only option, wanted black but hated the fact that it gets dirty easily and u can see the buffering swirl marks
Red makes the car "pop" but only while the paint is perfect. If you're prone to let it fade then white's a better choice for obvious reasons. Mine's not a daily driver so she misses a lot of exposure.
Actually, if you go to the UK Honda website @ http://www.honda.co.uk you'll see that they have 2 reds. One is the Ascari red (which they have in quotes New Formula) and there's a Monza red. Hmmm...
Oddly enough, they don't have the best color GPW for the 07 model. They have all the other exotic colors like deep burgandy with brown seats, moonrock, imola orange, and one I've never seen before (Bermuda Blue). So they have suzuka (nurburgring) blue, navy blue, and bermuda blue all as blues. I think royal navy blue is darker than laguna blue, but I haven't seen the real thing so I dunno.
By the way, the Monza red is an 800 pound add-on. The Ascari red is standard price. I always thought the european equivalent to NFR was Monza red, but the Ascari red looks more like NFR. Also, looks like they still have the old 1997cc engine in the UK. Hmmm...
