Call me granny. I'm lucky if I get to drive her twice a week. (Not once this past week ) But when I do take her out I like to give a good run but anymore then 6 or 7 quick hits in a local stoplight drive seems like a lot. I'm in for the long haul, don't need the problems later.

Redline once a commute. 6-7K most of the rest of the time once the 3 bars are lit.

I voted in the 11-15 bracket, but the wording of a higher bracket seems more suited to my way of driving..... "the streets are my racetrack...." at least when my wife isn't in the car anyway!!!!!

In view of the great expense [and great value] of this lovely machine, I only activate the second cam from time to time, perhaps a few times a week. I may not do that very often, but I get a really great sense of pleasure every time I feel the torque surge occurring - sort of like the treat of taking an occasional chocolate bar without ruining the diet.
I am proud of never having hit the rev limiter, ever. From the descriptions here, that must be a lousy sensation. Better to shift a few hundred rpm below the 9k level, and lose just a little bit of max capability, than to hit that wall.
Before any of the younger members of this group make too much fun of me for my conservative nature, I must confess openly that my real name is Joseph Q. Oldphart. And maybe you won't make quite so much fun of me in about 5 years and 60,000 miles when my engine, transmission and clutch are still original and in good shape.

Ever since I hit 1000km's, I've been hitting 9000rpms a good 70% of the time when driving. I have also hit the rev limiter quite a few times but I don't notice it as it feels the car is continuing to push faster. It is only when I look down and see the Rev Limiter continuously bouncing of 9 for a few secs before I say "shit, I think its time to shift gears now ".
