Default Regular Gasoline

Accidentally put 8 gallons of 87 octane into my S tonight. Topped it off with 93 after I realized what a screw up I was being. If I take it easy and keep it out of vtec for this whole gas cycle, will I be ok?

Not only will you be okay, but you should go to bed and not lose sleep. Yes these are made to run on 93, but thank god Honda like Most companies design the car to read knock and o2 reading to adjust for 87. You can reed line it all day, i bet you there is 10% + people on this forum that put 87 in their gas tanks for daily drivers. I have before, but I liked getting over 300 miles per tank so I used premium.

I could care less about MPG's, as long as I don't do any damage.

While I agree with ^^, I would still reset the ECU to help it relearn a little bit quicker.

Are these octane boosters worth it? I have heard mixed reviews. Would it be good for this one time mistake?

I don't want it to have to relearn the 93 when that goes back in...
