Noooooo~ Why Laguna...?

I am in GA and I exactly paid about 32K drive out little more than a year ago... Dang... 27K with my 6 percent tax would have been $28620.... Oh well....

Wow, this was the exact price I asked for two months ago when I went to carey paul....and they said no way in hell.

Gawee77, your deal isn't bad, you got a year's worth of driving and depreciation over your head and the difference is really only a little over $3k.

Below is the Carey Paul Honda toll free number. Maybe somebody should call and get the OTD price, which would include shipping, tax, dealer prep, "doc fee", and other stuff that tends to appear when it is time to sign the deal. Might be a good talking point for others looking to purchase an s2k.

I'm sure it's based on dealer cash from the manufacturer which wasn't available at that time.

Today was the first day the salesman hasn't called me to come and work out a "great deal." I love the pitch "We appraised your S2000 and it's in awesome shape, and we know we can get you out the door for what you want to pay."

If I was still in the market to get one I'd actually give them a chance, but right now it's just not worth it after buying my current S2K 2 months ago. I cannot afford to take any negative equity right now.

If anyone from Georgia is still in the market, I'm telling you give it a shot....I'd take the 7K off and buy the 07' over the 08'.

$27k + destination would be right at their dealer cost. I suppose this is pretty close to the bottom price.
