Most people do not know these are DOT certified, and are even in the plastic for proof.. I am very curious to see how well these work. Since no one on here has bought a set I figured I would do the forum a favor. If they suck well then you know to never buy them, if there are great, well some of you may be looking into getting these. I should have them here Next week sometime.

The "cut off line" is not that important to the quality of the headlight imo. Would you rather have a light that actually lights or one that has a nice line at the edge of where you look?

Yeah exactly. Honestly.. if I can see the road well that is all I am after. If there is a nice cutoff line, that is a bonus. I hope this is truly a good choice. The funds were not there to get two new OEM headlights.

I have them on my CRV. Just wanted to clear something up. Regardless who sells them, they are all the same headlight, EAGLE EYES, made in Taiwan. These lights are NOT DOT LEGAL!!!!! THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS DOT. You are all talking about D.O.T and NOT DOT (notice the periods.) This is how it is stamped on legal lights. DOT means nothing. However, if you do get pulled over, there is a great chance a cop won't know this information and let you go.

As for light quality, they are ok. The front plastic is actually pretty high quality and seems to resist chipping rather well. The projector is sloppy as far as cutoff goes, but does put out excellent light with a 6000K kit. The seal quality is hit or miss. One of my lights is excellent, the other fogs up after a car wash. The fit is OEM in every aspect (bolt holes, size, etc.) The halos are high quality as well, and have worked flawlessly from day one. The adjustment screw allows for a large range of adjusting.

Note, that review is of my CRV with these lights (2009). On a CRV they were a necessity, as I think the OEM CRV lights are downright dangerous. Overall, for the money, I was very happy with my purchase.

Are they better than OEM s2k lights? Not a chance in hell. However, if you don't want to spend the money on new OEM lights, or want a different look, they are fine. Do NOT expect the projector to be anywhere NEAR the quality of the OEM s2000 projector, probably the best headlight projector ever designed.

Any Asian aftermarket Ebay manufacturer can stamp DOT all over their lights and this will not make them Department of Transportation legal in the US or any other country! When you put aftermarket parts on your car you assume all risk.

^THIS. I rest my case.

S2000 OEM projectors are superior to almost all other OEM HID projectors and EVERY Ebay aftermarket projector available today.

The DOT sign on the headlights is fake. They should be reported to the DOT before anymore innocent people like yourself spending $400 to fail inspection and find out. This is the same reason why DOT and US customs is now stopping import of HID kits. Because people installing 12000k HID into halogen housing is getting less light than its original lights.

The manufacture of these are "Jun Yun". One of the worst manufacture in Taiwan. Someone mentioned "Eagle eyes" above, they are much better quality than "Jun Yun".

Common problem of these headlights:
1.Fake DOT stamps
2.Cheap plastic lens, you will very soon to see oxidation (much quicker than any oem)
3.Burn LEDs, if you look at the quality of those wires/LEDs i wouldn't even install them on my car and risking catching on fire.
4.Moisture (good luck with this one, its a hit or miss)
5.Lose projector lens (very common defect among Jun Yun products.)

o and good luck with the LED's. They are replaceable for a reason, the quality is so bad it can't last over 2 months.

Damn Honda for not making the s2000 hold it's original value of $30k. Damn those companies trying to make money by making products (even if they are low quality). Damn us kids for aging and making more money.

Damn young people getting older and getting decent jobs. What a disaster

(I'm one of them by the way, but don't worry. You won't find any ricey parts on my car.)
