I picked up my '01 Red/Black #1444 on 12/21/00. One of the two remotes does not work. The dealer told me to bring the car in anytime and they would fix it. Is this something that I can do myself?

have you tried swapping batteries with the known good one? see if its just the battery before going through all the trouble with the dealer.

Given the age of your car and of your remotes, I would guess that you just need to 'teach' the non-funcional remote your car's code. I forget how to do this, but surely someone could post it, or you could find out either from your dealer, or manual.

I have had problems with my remotes "forgetting" their codes. Has happened a few tomes. Prabably needs to be recoded. make sure that you take all remotes since they will all be reprogrammed (at least mine were).
