Default Removal of AIR BAG WARNINGS on visor

I have had my 04 S2000 for 3 weeks. I find the AIR BAG WARNINGS on both sides of the visor to be irritating. Is it OK to just peel them off, or will this leave glue marks, etc ? Does alcohol or anything else need to used ?

What is the best way to remove the labels ?

Thank you for your input.

I sincerely appreciate this website. This information is awesome.

The problem with removing them is that the finish of the visor is not the same under the stickers. Your best options is to cover them. There has been a number of options for this over the years.

We (as a vendor) offer a leather visor cover. This cover covers the whole visor with mathing leather.

This may not be what you are looking for but for other owners this is the best solution with a little humour:

Buy a set of visors for a Canada car. Doesn't have the stickers. That's what I did.

I removed the warnings from the vinyl side using a variety solvents, but you risk melting/hazing the vinyl. The side that's furry is impossible to remove, the only thing you can do is cover the warning stickers, which doesn't look very good.

Rick's leather covers are the best way to go. The only drawback is that they cover the passenger side visor mirror, no big deal for me.

Hey s2ka when you used the solvent, how did it look after? Is your vinyl looking all messed up?

Silverstreak HX does that sticker fit on our S? I notice ours is a little different.

Someone was selling a sticker that was cut to fit PERFECT over the air bag signs adn said S2000. I bought four and they worked perfectly. Probably got sued by AHM since I haven't seen them lately.
