Removal of Spare tire/tools
For those of you who took out the jack/tools, and spare tire to shead some pounds, what do you have in the event of getting a flat tire? do you just have to park it and wait for a ride to get your shit or what? I'm concidering but still a little worried...
I find that the easiest solution is to removed the tool tray and place the tools on top of the spare. This gains a LOT of storage space (ok, comparatively speaking), but retains the use of the spare. Realisitically, there isn't a ton of space to be gained by removing the spare anyway.
it's called fix a flat...
.. it actually works rather well.. should be enough to get you home or to a tire shop.....keep in mind it'll only work if it's a nail type puncture... the other thing you could do is get AAA.... but you'll have to wait a while.. cause they take forever to get to you.....

Leave the stuff in until you get to the track. However, you can take the jack & tools and wrap them in a towel or something and set them down in the spare tire. That way, you can take out the styrofoam tool kit holder and make more room in your trunk.
