Anyone out there know how to remove the stock wind deflector from the upper glovebox? I need to install my new Mingster aeroscreen. Are there online instructions somewhere? Am I just missing something here?

just pop the little black plastic covers off to reveal Phillips screws on the top side; use a 8mm socket on the bottom side (the underside of the compartment lid). Unscrew, careful not to lose the nuts, washers, and screws.

I still have those "nuts" or whatever on the bottom, they are smaller than 8mm and nothing seems to turn them, they are kinda rounded heads.

OK it's done....I put the screw back in and tapped on the head with a rubber mallet to knock out the nut. the new one is in place, too bad it is too late and too cold for a test.
