Default Remove all, some, or none..

I ordered Ricks S badges to replace the rear and front H's and the S badges to cover the H's on the rims. Those of you that have removed the 2000 or S 2000 on the sides does it look better with the whole S 2000 removed...just the 2000 or leave it as is? It would suck to remove it and wish I had not! I cant decide I am leaning towards just leaving the S 2000 on the sides but then on the other hand I am changing all the H's why not change it all... If anyone has a picture of just the S remaining I would love to see it.

Thanks
Joe

I debadged the S2000 on the sides. I will be debadging the 2 H badges also though.

If you have front or rear badges, keep the S2000 on the sides. It will look better. I think that sense I am having no badges at all it will look cleaner.

Just leaving the S might look good, I have actually never seen that before.

I agree- - "keep the S2000 on the sides"

If you think about it, the distance from the "S" to the side marker light will be different on both sides. The drivers side may look OK with just the "S", but the passenger's side will look like the "S" is randomly hung out in left field.

I personally feel that the entire "S 2000" is esthetically more pleasing as it extends the sight line back from the side marker light. Conversely, without any side lettering, the side marker light looks like an after afterthought. Just my opinion.

All external badges are off mine.

a. Honda isn't paying me to advertise their car . Think of it this way billboard owners don't advertise for free why should I ?

b. If I ever got around to washing and waxing I imagine it would be easier to wax.

I never thought about that, good point.

Maybe I will just leave the S 2000 on or completly remove it.

I was undecided about this issue, having seen some clear sides with clear markers made me lean toward removing the badge, but still wasn't certain. Someone took my car for a ride and managed to mess up the passenger fender. When the bodyshop was finished, I saw they had put the S in the same spot as the driver side...therefore creating a "2000 S".

I figured since it had to come off and go back on -- free at the body shop -- then I could take the chance and remove it and decide for myself. I actually drove around with it for a day or so that way. I found that I personally really like the clear sides with the clear side markers. To each their own...I can say it makes the wax job easier. My wife, who isn't a car nut about any of this stuff, likes it also -- unsolicited.
