Default Remove this front lip spoiler on ap1?

Does anyone know if this front spoiler can be removed cleanly? Meaning, were new holes drilled in the bumper to get a spoiler like this on? I would want to remove it right away, but not if some unsightly holes were left visible. Thanks.

Looks like a RSG Gears Lip. Why remove it?

Because it is ugly, cracked and fits like trash.

(First opinion based on RSG Gears lip in general, second and third on the specific photo)

In theory it SHOULD be removable. I can't imagine why someone would make visible holes to mount it.

I really like the stock look of the ap1.

So do I. I also think a front lip looks very nice (if it fits properly). I definitely prefer the look of the OEM lip but many like the RSG lip. I didn't notice the crack in this one at first glance either.

I would remove that one, but I absolutely love the OEM lip on these cars.

It was the very first thing I put on mine.

Pretty sure there aren’t any visible holes from mounting that lip. Never know until you see it in person though.

The OE front spoilers use existing mounting points in the front bumper and I'm guessing the aftermarket spoilers would mount the same way. A front spoiler in some respects serves as a stone chip protector for the lower half of the bumper so you may want to leave this in place (after correcting the fit) at least for a while.

May we assume you're considering buying this car? Advertised as "original?" The car appears to be missing some S2000 badging and has a non OEM H badge on the nose. The paint in the photo is whispering "repainted" to me. Roof isn't retracting properly as well. VIN tags?

Lip spoilers are usually screwed on the opposite ends where the small lip turns into the wheelwell. The holes there will not be very visible once removed.

I would be more worried about that loose fitment causing the lip to rub into the paint of the bumper.
